As the Scottish and global economies transform to hit net zero targets, trade will have a vital role to play in providing the technology and equipment we need. Building on Scotland’s Vision for Trade, we want to explore the role that trade has in achieving the transition to net zero and how the Scottish Government, its stakeholders and other nations around the world can drive the change.

Join us for the live stream of this facilitated panel discussion from the Multilevel Action Pavilion, with speakers getting the opportunity to contribute to this globally important policy debate. The panel will discuss two fundamental challenges:

  • Influencing green trade in the multilateral space
  • how can sub-national administrations contribute positively to green trade, including through collaboration with national governments on green trade policy
